General Dentistry
At Restore Health Dental Services, your oral health is a top priority. However, we firmly believe that maintaining good oral health isn't as easy as brushing your teeth and flossing. You need to follow many steps to maintain healthy teeth and gums. To avoid oral diseases and cavities, you should brush and floss regularly and visit your dentist at least once every 6 months.
Restore Health Dental Services offers the following General Dentistry Services:
Dental cleaning

Before the cleaning, our expert dental professionals will conduct an examination to:
- Check your teeth for plaque, cavities, and tartar during the examination.
- Use a scaler to remove plaque build-up and tartar for the cleaning phase. We then use disposable chairside rotary brushes and prophylaxis paste to to clean the teeth further.
- Floss the teeth if necessary.
Digital dental x-ray imagery

X-rays can be a crucial part of a patient's dental treatment. At Restore Health Dental Services, we employ advanced Digital X-rays to help detect periodontal disease and cavities. X-rays also help diagnose and examine the health of tooth roots and the bone structures surrounding teeth.
Root canals

Root canal treatment eliminates the bacteria found in an infected tooth. The treatment helps prevent reinfection of the tooth and essentially saves the natural tooth. During the procedure, we remove the infected pulp. Next, we disinfect the affected tooth, clean it and seal it with a filling.
Extractions
We do our best to save all your natural teeth, as nothing compares to a healthy, natural tooth. However, if extensive decay, trauma, or a deep fracture to a tooth is present, our professionals may recommend extracting the tooth. People with impacted wisdom teeth may also need an extraction.
Fillings
If you have a cavity that isn't too serious, we will most likely treat it using a dental filling. The decayed part of the tooth is removed during and the area is sealed with a filling. We also use fillings to repair cracked or broken teeth that have been worn down from habits like nail-biting or teeth grinding.

Endodontics
Endodontics focuses on the dental pulp inside the tooth and the tissues, nerves, arteries and veins surrounding the roots of a tooth.
Endodontic treatment is typically required when the dental pulp undergoes trauma from the following causes:
- Tooth decay, such as an untreated cavity from plaque damages a tooth’s root tissues.
- A tooth abscess is a buildup of pus that forms when bacteria gets inside your tooth or gums).
- Tooth injuries due to trauma (such as a hard fall).
- A cracked tooth is when a crack extends to a tooth’s pulp tissue.
A root canal is a commonly performed endodontic procedure.
Root canal therapy is generally needed when there is an infection deep within the pulp of the tooth. Root canal treatment eliminates the bacteria found in an infected tooth. The treatment helps prevent reinfection of the tooth and essentially saves the natural tooth. During the procedure, we remove all the infected pulp. Next, we disinfect the affected tooth, clean it and seal it with a filling.
